We are Australian owned business with PhD degree and masters in polymer engineering that started our journey in Dec 2023 to raise awareness in the Australian community regarding biodegradable plastic materials that could genuinely reduce carbon footprint.
We believe not only the public, but government and other organisations are not fully aware of the recent advances in the biodegradable plastics industry. There are new materials that have proven ability to 100% biodegrade without leaving any microplastic traces in marine or soil environment. These materials used to be made only in the laboratories, but have gradually found their way to be manufactured in large scales across the globe. You could be one of the first to use them in your business and take advantage of the properties and features these materials offer against the common plastics used in the industry.
We want to give the Australian community this chance to try our biodegradable plastic solutions for their product. Offering you commercially available 100% biodegradable plastics as simple as a straw to be used in your Cafe or as complex as a 3D printed plastic or custom designed injection moulded part, which all come from 100% biobased sustainable material that biodegrade within short period of time even if thrown into ocean or left in your backyard garden!
We will work with you to either find an available finished biodegradable product for your next project or will consult you and work on an engineering and R&D solution to make that product made for your business.
In below section we introduce the polymer material that tick all the boxes to be the ultimate "green" plastic!
We believe many of the plastics that are made today could be manufactured using new materials such as PHA that they biodegrade and become part of the nature.
While other biodegradable plastics such as PLA can only breake down in certain conditions such as in an industrial composting facility, PHA plastic can degrade not only in industrial and home composting conditions, but also they can biodegrade in soil sediment and even marine environment within short period of time.
PHA plastics are 100% biobased, 100% biodegradable, and food contact safe, therefore could be the perfect candidate to replace your current or future plastic product.
